The core
Woodside, and everything within about two miles
This is where we live and where most of our roofs are. Being genuinely close is not a slogan — it decides whether somebody can be on your roof with a tarp inside the hour on a night when the wind has taken half the shingles off it.
Beyond the core we cover the rest of Queens, and commercial and multi-family work across Brooklyn and Manhattan for buildings and agents we already look after.

Local knowledge
What thirty years on these blocks actually teaches you
Neighbourhoods here were built in waves, and each wave has its own roof and its own way of failing.
Woodside and Sunnyside row houses
Attached and semi-attached brick, shallow pitches, shared party walls and roof lines that meet a neighbour's. Almost everything here turns on the flashing where two properties meet and on gutters that were undersized when they were installed.
Sunnyside Gardens and the garden blocks
Planned terraces with shared drainage and, on many blocks, planning constraints on what can be seen from the street. Matching what is there matters more here than anywhere else in the area.
Jackson Heights co-ops
Six-storey pre-war buildings with flat roofs, parapets, coping stones and internal leaders. The classic top-floor leak here is a coping joint, not the roof, and it gets misdiagnosed for years.
Astoria and Long Island City
A mix of everything, plus a great deal of newer flat-roofed development carrying rooftop mechanical equipment on curbs that need flashing like small buildings.
Maspeth, Ridgewood and Glendale
Older frame and brick housing with steeper pitches, more slate than people expect, and a lot of roofs where the previous work was a second layer laid over the first.
Elmhurst, Corona and Rego Park
Dense two- and three-family housing where access is the constraint — narrow side yards, no driveway and a container that has to go somewhere. It is a real cost factor and we will say so at survey.
Response times
What “we cover your area” actually means
Emergencies, everywhere we serve
24 hours a day, every day. In a widespread storm you may be in a queue and we will tell you honestly where, rather than inventing a time we cannot keep.
Plan holders first
Two-hour response target for multi-family plans, four hours for commercial, and no call-out charge for anybody on a plan.
Leak calls
A call before about noon on a weekday is almost always seen the same day anywhere in the core area.
Surveys and quotes
Usually within two to three working days, free, and unhurried — a survey done properly takes about an hour.
Not sure if you are in range
Call and ask — the answer is usually yes
If you are in Queens we almost certainly cover you, and for commercial and multi-family work we go further. It takes one phone call to find out.
